In the harsh conditions of the Dune Sea the gulp of milk from a black melon is essential for survival, but The Book of Boba Fett, at least in the collector’s world, also shows us there are more refined thirst options.

The Republic of Tea, in collaboration with Disney and Lucasfilm, has launched Collector’s Edition blends of tea, complete with a striking pair of tins featuring Boba Fett and Fennec Shand. Each tin has a background of Jabba’s Palace and an overview of “The Book of Boba Fett.”

The Boba edition includes the hero wearing his helmet while holding his blaster at rest across his body. His special flavor is “Legendary Green Chai” (36 unbleached round tea bags) described on the decorative container as an “energizing tea…perfectly balanced with premium green tea, ginger root, cinnamon, cardamom seeds and almond, to help you stake your claim in the galaxy’s underworld.”

On the Fennec edition, the helmeted assassin holds her sniper rifle across her body, almost protective of the deep, dark “Elite Black Tea” inside, described as “the combination of ripe red cherry with premium black tea and vanilla steeps a complex cup. Enjoy hot or cold over ice. A masterful blend to keep your senses sharp!”

The tins are sturdy and beautiful—and are the second foray into a collaboration between The Republic of Tea and Disney/Lucasfilm, following a set of six unique teas and tins commemorating season 2 of The Mandalorian released in 2020.

This is a sip by sip tea more likely to be found in Garsa Fwip’s Mos Espa cantina, the “Sanctuary,” than on the back of a bumpy bantha ride.
