Boonta Eve Special Edition Texas 2 takes place this coming Friday at The Revel Patio Grill located at 9305 Preston Road in Frisco, Texas, and joining a superb guest line-up are two stars of the Mandoverse, one a much-loved GFFA treasure who appeared in this summers The Mandalorian and Grogu, and the other an Academy Award winning actor who broke new ground in the galaxy. It is the norm of the industry, especially when running events, that there is always a clause in contracts that talent can cancel for professional and personal reasons with very little notice. We are lucky when their schedules clear up and we get to play in the sandbox, but at the end of the day, sometimes they get called to set to continue making the magic that we all love.
With that, unfortunately, as of last night, Dawn Dininger and TaMara Carlson Woodard got called for professional reasons. We love both of them and I can tell you that they are crushed they can’t play with us in Texas next week. We hope to have them both at a future “Boonta”!
But as they say, the SHOW MUST GO ON and there is absolutely NO SLEEP, TIL BOONTA!
On top of the AMAZING lineup we already have, we are proud to announce the following additions!
VCN Hall of Famer, MISTY ROSAS will be joining us. Misty performed as “Kuill” and “the Frog Lady” in “The Mandalorian” Series on Disney + but also appeared as the motion capture performer for “Hugo Durrant” the Chef in “The Mandalorian and Grogu” movie. Besides being an amazing actress in her own right, Misty is an exceptional singer! Hopefully she will get up with the band at “Boonta”! Misty will appear at “Boonta” on Friday Night and at RSC on Saturday AM from 10am-2pm. Her prices will be $40 for an autograph / $20 for a selfie.

In his FIRST Star Wars Convention signing EVER, we welcome Oscar Winner TROY KOTSUR to “Boonta”! Troy was the “Tusken Raider” who used sign language to communicate with Mando in Season 1 (duo signed much with Brendan???) He was also credited with creating the Tusken Sign Language! Most impressive of all, Troy won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor in 2022 for the acclaimed film “CODA”. Troy will appear at “Boonta” on Friday and Saturday from 12pm-5pm at RSC! His prices are $60 for an autograph / $40 for a selfie / $80 for a Combo!
Both actors will be Cash or Card at their respected tables.
