Congratulations to arguably the greatest startship captain of them all – albeit from another galaxy – William Shatner, who today became the oldest human to journey into space aboard the Blue Origin. The 11 minute journey included 4 minutes of weightlessness and a safe landing near Blue Origin’s West Texas facility where Shatner was greeted by company founder and richest man on the planet Jeff Bezos.

In classic Shatner style he had this to say.

Huge congratulations to the man of the moment. If only Carrie Fisher were still here to roast the Captain on his return to terra firma.
