Galactic Starcruiser: Permit filed for marquee

A new permit has been filed for a ground-mounted marquee sign near the entrance to Galactic Starcruiser, the Star Wars hotel which is racing at lightspeed towards its 2022 launch date.

Walt Disney Imagineering has filed a new permit for a marquee for Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser, the immersive Star Wars hotel set to open next year at Walt Disney World.

The permit is to “install [a] new ground mount marquee”, which may just be a sign for the hotel’s entrance. It calls upon Design Communications LTD (DCL) as the contractor. DCL has worked on multiple Walt Disney World projects including new signage and The Odyssey Pavilion at EPCOT.
