The show is in the process of being set up, people are flying in from around the world and fans are set to head towards Olympia for a busy weekend of genre fun and frolics. We’re knee-deep in prep for the Star Wars Fandom Zone, brought to you by Fantha Tracks, but above and beyond that there are a couple of other Star Wars related happenings taking place over the weekend.

First off at noon on Saturday 28th July I will be hosting the Star Wars: A Galaxy Far, Far Away panel with a quintet of great guests on the Comic Zone Stage

The COMIC ZONE panel is now finalised, and below! Please note that these are held on the COMIC ZONE stage, and are all free to attend!

12PM: STAR WARS: A GALAXY FAR, FAR AWAY: For over 41 years, Star Wars has been sci-fi royalty. With new movies bringing in billions, and a new generation of fans reading the comics and watching spin off shows like Rebels, our panel discuss why Star Wars is more popular than ever.
Kieron Gillen (Star Wars, Dr Aphra), Casper Wijngaard (Star Wars, Deadpool), Simon Myers (Doctor Who, Star Wars Insider), Arianna Florean (Star Wars, Doctor Who), Martin Fisher (Star Wars: Rebels). Moderator: Mark Newbold (Star Wars Insider)

Then on Sunday at 10.10am I will be on the Main Stage interviewing none other than Ray Park (and we can talk about you-know-what scene in Solo!), and if you are attending then be sure to get to the cosplay stage at 7.30pm on Saturday evening for the Ray Park Martial Arts Demo.
