Barnes & Noble are getting into the May the 4th spirit, inviting customers to find their local store and take part in a mini build as part of the Star Wars weekend events. You can become a shipwright and put together a mini X-Wing, which might not get you all the way to the galaxy far, far away but for a few moments it’ll certainly get you started.

Barnes & Noble is excited to invite fans of the beloved Star Wars franchise to come together and celebrate Star Wars Day, this weekend Friday May 3 to Sunday May 5. Select stores will be hosting an in-person event for customers to build a free LEGO® Star Wars X-wing mini build.

This event is free to the public, but as kit quantities are limited, reservations are required. Save your space today by stopping by or calling your local B&N to inquire about the event. Please be ready to provide information regarding the number and names of attendees in your party. Though the event is open to all ages, this activity is recommended for ages 6 and up as the LEGO® mini build does include small pieces that can be a choking hazard, especially to those under the age of 3.

All fans are welcome — and strongly encouraged — to wear Star Wars themed costumes. So grab your favorite galactic garb off the shelf and get ready for a day of stellar fun!
