MCM London took place this past weekend at the ExCeL in Docklands, and a major part of the show was The Clone Wars panel, which brought members of the cast – Ashley Eckstein, Dee Bradley Baker, James Arnold Taylor, Matt Lanter, Cat Taber and Nika Futterman – to the stage to tell stories, take questions from the audience and in a poignant moment, remember the late Tom Kane, who passed away last week.
James Arnold Taylor: “And if I may, just in the beginning, we want to explain why we have an extra chair. Our dear, dear, wonderful castmate, the voice of Yoda, and the narrator of every episode of The Clone Wars, Tom Kane. This last week he passed away, and we thought as a tribute, he’s always with us, so we will have a chair here for him, and we will just honor him, and we’ll get to tell some stories and talk about them, too. But we just wanted to thank you all for a showing love to all of us, but especially for our dear friend, the legendary Tom.”
With enormous thanks to the marvellous Mavis Kiljoy for the photographs.
