The Saturn Awards are just a couple of weeks away and Star Wars is well represented with  a nomination each for Star Wars Resistance and Solo: A Star Wars Story.

Best Science Fiction Film Release:

Alita: Battle Angel (20th Century Fox)
Bumblebee (Paramount)
Jurassic Park: Fallen Kingdom (Universal Pictures)
Ready Player One (Warner Bros. Pictures)
Solo: A Star Wars Story (Lucasfilm Ltd. / Walt Disney Studios)
Sorry to Bother You (Mirror Releasing – Annapurna Pictures)
Upgrade (BH Tilt)

Best Animated Series on Television:

Archer (FX)
Duck Tales (Disney Channel)
Family Guy (Fox)
The Simpsons (Fox)
Star Wars Resistance (Disney Channel)

No nominations for ILM and Solo in the VFX category, or for John Powell in the Best Film Music category (which after the Oscar debacle is ludicrous) but we cross our fingers for our GFFA representatives when the awards are handed out on 13th September
