Our great pal Paul Braggard at MinInBox attended a press conference last week in Paris, featuring director Rian Johnson and producer Ram Bergman.

Head on over to MIB for a full gallery of images, and check out the video below from Planete Star Wars.

The translator then takes the floor and opens the conference by asking a first question. Over the interrogations formulated by the fans and the journalists, one learns that Rian Johnson and JJ Abrams show a true complementarity. Indeed, Rian Johnson asked JJ Abrams to modify the final scene of The Force Awakens taking place on Ahch-To. He wished that this one fits at best with the beginning of The Last Jedi.

Mark Hamill is a real powerhouse on the set. Very impregnated by his role as Luke Skywalker for many years, he proves to be a valuable advisor to the director and continues to offer his ideas.

In front of the huge pressure that we have to bear when we realize a Star Wars, our two guests reveal to us that being too busy during the entire process of creating the film, the real stress vis-à-vis the public only happens once the film is finished!

A young and potential future director asks Rian Johnson, what would be the best advice for integrating the film industry. He responds that one should not begin by asking oneself how to achieve such an objective, but rather to realize at first his own projects, to illustrate his own ideas and to be especially noticed by his creativity.
