As a lifelong Kaiju fan, the visit of Godzilla Minus One Director, Writer, and Visual Effects Supervisor Takashi Yamazaki to The Presidio must have been a very special day for Dave Filoni,  allowing him the chance to conduct a Q&A with Yamazaki after a screening of the smash-hit film ($96.4 million globally on a $15 million budget).

Yamazaki could be meeting ILM again very soon, as the monster movie is in with a great chance of grabbing an Oscar nomination, and Variety take a look at the likely nominees.
