Are any Fantha Trackers on holiday in the Algarve then why not take a look at The International Festival of sand sculpture, also known as Sand City, which is the largest sand sculpture theme park in the world and takes place annually since 2003 in Pêra, Algarve.

Anakin Skywalker may have hated sand but this year’s Edition has the presence of some sand sculptures of characters from the universe Star Wars. Sand City offers a series of parallel events to the exhibition of sand sculptures, such as activities and demonstrations on the technique of sand sculpting, guided tours, workshops, projections of videos, and a cultural agenda with shows in various artistic forms.
