Return of the Garrison is back at the National Space Centre in Leicester this coming weekend 17th – 18th September, and there’s plenty of reasons to click here and your tickets ordered.

To celebrate one of the most influential film, tv, comic, game, art and literature franchises of all times, the National Space Centre is dedicating a weekend to discovering more about the planets from a galaxy far far away.

This charity event brings together guest stars, fans, families, children and the amazing costuming groups for a Force filled weekend.

Enjoy exhibitions, talks, workshops, craft sessions and loads of photo opportunities. Meet your Imperial or Rebel heroes, see droids put through their paces, or learn how to wield the galaxy’s most elegant weapon.

(L-R): Willow Ufgood (Warwick Davis) and (Graham Hughes) in Lucasfilm’s WILLOW exclusively on Disney+. ©2022 Lucasfilm Ltd. & TM. All Rights Reserved.

The weekends big name guest is Warwick Davis, recently seen at D23 Expo revealing the new trailer for Willow, coming to Disney Plus in November. He will be attending the show on Saturday only, joined by his daughter Annabelle.

Visitors over the weekend can also enjoy TWO live episodes of Making Tracks in the Planetarium at 3.10pm each day. There are still tickets available for the Sunday, but seats are filling fast for the Saturday show, where we may have a VERY special guest joining us for a chat….

Making Tracks LIVE

Fantha Tracks writer and podcaster Mark Newbold is joined by fellow host, and CO of the UK Rebel Legion costuming club, Mark Mulcaster for the very latest news from the world of Star Wars. Making Tracks is a long running and ever popular Star Wars podcast. Bring along questions, sit back and find out the inside track and maybe there will be a few surprises along the way.

Lucasfilm artist JAKe and his ever-awesome How to Draw Star Wars art tutorial will be at the show, while JAKe will be joined by Star Wars concept artist Jake Lunt Davies as they talk all things Star Wars. Palitoy Chief Designer Bob Brechin will be interviewed in the Planetarium by my good self, and of course the Rebel Legion, Mando Mercs, Droid Builders UK, and the UK Garrison will be there, along with our friends at Jedi News, shopping in the Hyperspace Hypermarket and much, much more.

Fantha Tracks are there for the whole weekend for a show that is always a highlight of the convention calendar. Stay tuned for content flooding our socials, the site, Fantha Tracks Radio and Fantha Tracks TV.
