The VFX Festival 2018

Taking place between the 6th and 8th February, the 6th annual VFX festival 2018 looks at the best in games, VFX, animation and motion graphics.

Taking place at RichMix, on Bethnal Green Road in London, the event brings together representatives from many of the major VFX houses including The Mill, Dneg, Framestore, Pixar and ILM.

Day three is of the most interest to Star Wars fans as ILM will be giving a presentation that day.

ILM London – The VFX of Star Wars: The Last Jedi by Ben Morris, Creative Director ILM London and Global VFX Supervisor for Star Wars: The Last Jedi

Ben will be joined by Mike Mulholland – VFX Supervisor ILM London and Steve Aplin – Director of Animation for ILM London.

The team will talk through various aspects of the VFX and VFX Animation process that went into bringing the amazing images for Star Wars: The Last Jedi to the big screen.
