Crazy Rich Asians director Jon M. Chu has thrown his hat into the ring regarding a possible Rose Tico series, using his heavyweight Hollywoof heft to tweet his desire to be involved.

Co-writer Chris Terrio has explained the technical issues which precluded more Rose involvement in the film after pairing her character up with Carrie Fisher‘s General Leia, but  with a little over a minute of screen time making its way to the final edit, there’s definitely more scope for investigating Rose further and the era she lived in.
