Daisy Ridley on Finn becoming a Jedi: “I would love to see that”

We know there’s a Daisy Ridley led movie coming our way in the future, set 15 years after the events of The Rise of Skywalker, but we have no idea who’s going to be sharing the screen with her. One person fans of the sequels would love to see return is John Boyega as Finn, and while he as shown some reticence regarding a return a fulfilling storyline and increased prominence in the film could well entice him to come back and speaking recently with Screen Rant, Daisy was asked about that possibility, and her answer certainly showed that having Boyega join her as a Jedi – his Master Mace Windu to her Grandmaster Yoda perhaps? – would be most welcome.

“That is above my pay grade. [Laughs] I would love to see that, but that is not a decision for me.”

Concise but illuminating. What do you guys think about a potential return for Finn as a Jedi, something teased in The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi but heavily pointed to in The Rise of Skywalker. Let us know on our socials, and tune in to this weeks episode of Making Tracks where we’ll be discussing this and much more.
