Andor: Ben Caron and Susanna White to direct

It appears that Andor has selected two new directors in Susanna White and Ben Caron, both with impressive resume’s joining the already announced Toby Haynes who helmed the hugely popular USS Calister episode of Black Mirror.

Ben Caron is known for his work on Skins, Sherlock, Wallander, as well as directing 11 episodes of The Crown. He also holds Executive Producer credit on 20 episodes of that series. Susanna White’s portfolio includes directing the feature films Nanny McPhee Returns and Woman Walks Ahead. Additionally, she has directed episodes of The Deuce, Trust, Generation Kill, Masters of Sex, Billons, and more.

Diego Luna will reprise his the role of rebel spy Cassian Andor from Rogue One and will be joined by a new supporting cast that includes Stellan Skarsgard, Adria Arjona, Fiona Shaw, Denise Gough, Kyle Soller, and Genevieve O’Reilly returning as Mon Mothma.

Tony Gilroy, who co-wrote Rogue One, will write and serve as showrunner for the series, which takes place five years before the events of the film. Additional writers on the series include Dan Gilroy (Nightcrawler), Beau Willimon (House of Cards), and Stephen Schiff (The Americans).
