Call of the Wild is released in the US on 21st February, starring Harrison Ford, Dan Stevens, Omar Sy, Karen Gillan, Bradley Whitford and Colin Woodell and what’s being called a ‘live-action/animation hybrid.’

Ford plays John Thornton, a hardened outsider who lives in the wilds of the Yukon with his dog, Buck. Based on the 1903 novel by Jack London, the film is released by Disney company 20th Century Fox who explain that the film ’employs cutting edge visual effects and animation technology in order to render the animals in the film as fully photorealistic–and emotionally authentic–characters.’
