Congratulations To Troy Kotsur Winner Of The Academy Award For Best Supporting Actor

Troy Kotsur has won The Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his work in the Apple TV production, Coda.

CODA is a comedy-drama film written and directed by Sian Heder.  It is an English-language remake of the 2014 French film La Famille Bélier, it stars Emilia Jones as the titular child of deaf adults (CODA) called Ruby and only hearing member of a deaf family, who attempts to help her family’s struggling fishing business, while pursuing her own aspirations of being a singer.  Tory played Ruby’s father in the film.

Troy played a Tuskan Raider in Chapter 5: The Gunslinger of the Disney+ hit, The Mandalorian, and returned to work in the galaxy far far away by creating the sign language used by the Tuskan Raiders in The Book of Boba Fett.
