That’s the way that Daisy Ridley felt during the making of a film we never thought we’d ever see, The Force Awakens. Speaking on the Happy Sad Confused podcast, she described where her feelings were at the time.

“It was really scary. I felt just sick and I didn’t really know anyone yet. It takes me a really long time to settle down with people. And I do remember being behind the speeder and there were loads of people there and somebody had an umbrella over me. Even that, like, ‘Oh someone’s holding an umbrella over you? OK.’ And I remember thinking, ‘I can’t do it. I can’t do this, this is not right.’”

Even Daisy’s Mom was nervous at her casting in such a monumentally big film, but thankfully for Daisy and for the rest of us she found her feet.

Daisy returns for the last time as Rey on 19th December in The Rise of Skywalker.
