Start a band worthy of an Ewok celebration on the forest moon of Endor! Sean and Marissa show you how to build your own simple Ewok drum using a balloon, a cardboard oatmeal container, and a hat box. Now you’ll be ready to party next time you and your friends help to defeat the Galactic Empire.

Supplies for this project:

1 empty oatmeal container or a small hat box
1 large balloon
Strong rubber bands
Green and orange muslin
Drum sticks
Twine and twigs
Moss
Book binder pins
Paintbrushes
Black, brown, navy blue, green, and copper paint
Newspaper or packing material
Scissors
Low-heat hot glue gun
