A decade ago, Star Wars the man who took pencil, paper and his creative eye to draw the galaxy far, far away left us. Ralph McQuarrie passed away on 3rd March 2012, one of the pillars of Star Wars alongside George Lucas, Gary Kurtz and John Williams, but left behind the visual language of Star Wars, influencing everything that came after it.

We could happily talk all day about Ralph, the man and his incredible talent…but far better to let his art do the talking.
