Rian Johnson IS still working on his Star Wars trilogy

The rumour mill was grinding midweek regarding not only the topic and chronological placement of Rian Johnson’s Star Wars trilogy but whether he would be making one at all.

Screen Rant kicked off proceedings with a piece claiming that Johnson had opted to move on to other projects and move away from producing a new trilogy of films. Naturally, that spread across the internet like wildfire prompting Johnson himself to address the rumours.

So the trilogy lives on, not that it was ever dead. With Celebration Chicago less than 2 months away it will be interesting to see if any news is revealed.
