While he admits that it’s not something he’s given great thought to – and why would he, he’s frikkin’ Deadpool – Ryan Reynolds has admitted, while promoting his new Netflix film The Adam Project which co-stars fellow Marvel heroes Mark Ruffalo, Jennifer Garner and Zoe Saldana, that an invitation to be a part of the GFFA would be a tough one to turn down.
Ryan Reynolds attends the premiere of “Free Guy” at AMC Lincoln Square Theater in New York, NY on August 03, 2021.
“The Adam Project” includes a running gag about “Star Wars,” a franchise that Reynolds said he would certainly be open to joining. “That would be a real hard thing to say no to, but honestly — I’m not making this up — it’s not something I’ve ever thought of,” he said.
If that offer did ever materialise – and with Star Wars expanding faster than a hungry Hutts waistline and Reynolds already being a part of the Disney family there’s every chance – what role could he occupy? Cocky smuggler Dash Rendar? The wise-cracking Sith acolyte Ochi of Bestoon? Han’s party-planning younger brother Van Solo? Let us know on our social feeds and we might just read it out on the next episode of Making Tracks.
