In the wake of the passing of Peter Mayhew, not only do we reflect on the massive contribution he made to Star Wars and popular culture, but also just how much we as fans adored Chewbacca. While newer, younger actors continue with the role, Peter made the template upon which every other wookiee bases his performance, but it’s also worth noting just how darn huggable Chewie is.
