GamesRadar have spotted a neat easter egg in the trailer for Solo: A Star Wars Story, a film which looks set to be loaded with all manner of nods and winks to the past and the present of the saga. Tucked away behind Han Solo at the 0.58 second mark is a character first seen in Rogue One, and more recently in issues 15 – 18 of Doctor Aphra. That character is Tam Posla, and Wookieepedia give us this information.

Tam Posla was an interstellar lawman representing the Milvayne Authority who investigated claims of kidnapping, forced servitude, and surgical alteration of victims from the desertmoon of Jedha, which resembled a rash of crimes on Milvayne attributed to a pair of visiting spacers using the suspected aliases of “Roofoo” and “Sawkee.”

Though taken off the case by his superior officer, Posla voyaged well beyond his jurisdiction and, determined to bring the criminals to justice, became a bounty hunter.

He carried a modified BlasTech Industries DL-17 blaster rifle.

A visit to his Wookieepedia page shows that Posla has quite the history, and while he’s no Carlonian Feese he looks set to work his way into the rogues gallery of Star Wars bounty hunters.

As GamesRadar say, could he be a more prominent character going forward? Only time will tell.
