While we wait for the return of big screen Star Wars adventures, the talented folks behind the creatures of the galaxy are keeping their skills sharp, and the return of Doctor Who to screens around the world (BBC in the UK, Disney Plus everywhere else) means there are plenty more exotic creatures that require a touch of magic to bring latex to life. The Christmas special – The Church on Ruby Road – featuring the 15th Doctor Ncuti Gatwa not only introduced us to a very different iteration of the time travelling legend, but also Brian Herring in a very familiar cap.
