Summer is here, which means more free time to grab a smart phone or tablet and have a binge! Over the next few months I will be sharing some fun binges you can watch alone or with your family.
First up Star Wars: Forces of Destiny. Both seasons of the show are on Disney+ right now. The Forces of Destiny initiative was announced at Star Wars Celebration Chicago back in 2019 and focuses on the women of the Star Wars galaxy across multiple timelines. Ghostbot was the animation studio invited to produce this series of shorts with their signature style of 2D animation.
The stories feature Princess Leia, Rey, Jyn Erso, Hera and Sabine from Star Wars Rebels, Ahsoka Tano, Padme Amidala and more. The series also created tie-in books, comics and action figures along with a series of action figure’s of a unique size with many accessories. There were also some tie-in merchandise available at Disney parks and Disney store online.
