Val couldn’t steal the coaxium in Solo: A Star Wars Story, but Thandie Newton’s win at last night’s Emmy Awards was every bit as heroic as she walked away with the gong for Outstanding Supporting Actress In A Drama Series for Westworld, beating Vanessa Kirby in The Crown, Alexis Bledel, Ann Dowd and Yvonne Strahovski in The Handmaid’s Tale, Lena Headey in Game of Thrones and Millie Bobby Brown in Stranger Things.

Congrats to naughty, sweary Thandie for her well-deserved win!
