The latest edition of Blocks Magazine is on the way, landing in stores from 4th January 2024 and along with a slew of content from across the LEGO world the issue delves into the top 10 sets of The Phantom Menace, the first 1999 prequel that was also the first new Star Wars film to enjoy product support from LEGO.

In Blocks magazine Issue 111, the team is assembling the ridiculously tall 76269 Avengers Tower to see how it measures up. Inside you’ll also find interviews with LEGO creatives, including an exclusive look at how the Friends team developed 42639 Andrea’s Modern Mansion.

Issue 111 is available worldwide as part of a subscription or a single issue at blocksmag.com and will be in UK stores from January 4. Online orders will start shipping from December 27.

We’re giving away the Pirates throwback set, 10320 Eldorado Fortress! To be in with a chance of winning, take out a subscription before the end of January. You’ll be entered into a new draw every month for the duration of your subscription!

In Issue 111, 76269 Avengers Tower is assembled and dissected – get the Blocks verdict on the enormous model. You’ll also find reviews of new sets including 80112 Auspicious Dragon, Monkie Kid 80054 Megapolis City and 10329 Tiny Plants.

There’s also an exclusive interview with the LEGO Friends team about the design and development that went into 42639 Andrea’s Modern Mansion – a set unlike any that has been released before. The feature is illustrated with concept art and unused mini-doll designs.

In addition, Blocks hears from the designers behind 21344 The Orient Express Train and 80113 Family Reunion Celebration to find out more about what the talented professionals in Billund have been up to.

Elsewhere this month you can learn about the amazing New Hashima project – it’s an enormous international collaborative build and has resulted in an awe-inspiring cyberpunk city. It makes Avengers Tower look as puny as Loki.

On the other end of the scale, a look at Febrovery focuses on the amazing space themed rovers that come rolling out of the LEGO community’s collective imagination for a whole month every year.

Within the 116-page magazine you’ll also find exclusive build instructions for three mini models, the top 10 Star Wars: The Phantom Menace sets, the story of one AFOL’s holy grail (10194 Emerald Night) and much more.

Blocks is giving away LEGO 10320 Eldorado Fortress! To be entered into the prize draw and to get Blocks magazine delivered every month – ahead of the shops – visit www.blocksmag.com and check out the money-saving subscription deals available.
