Now with perfect binding – that means it has a spine – and improved paper quality, here’s issue 65 of Blocks Magazine.

Blocks magazine Issue 65 is on sale today. The latest monthly edition provides more than 100 pages of LEGO features, reviews and technique guides – with improved paper quality and an upgraded perfect bound cover.

The cover of this month’s issue features LEGO NINJAGO, with the Review section taking a look at the theme’s latest sets as well as the Chinese New Year releases and 10270 Bookshop, the new Creator Expert modular.

An entirely new theme has launched this month – LEGO DOTS. To get a close-up look at this new concept, Blocks magazine visits the HOUSE OF DOTS to speak to Design Lead Amy Corbett and Camille Walala, the artist who designed the incredible installation.

It is not only Billund-based designers who work with LEGO bricks all day – LEGO Certified Professionals are located around the world and make a living from building. Ryan McNaught, Robin Sather, Dirk Denoyelle and Rene Hoffmeister reveal what it is like to work as a LEGO professional and how the program originated.

With 10272 Old Trafford bringing sport back to the brick, the Blocks magazine staffers debate the merits of Manchester United’s stadium getting the LEGO treatment. There is also a look back at 10 occasions when the LEGO Group has ventured into sports, with some entries on the list more fondly remembered than others…

Baby Yoda turns up in Month in MOCs, as the fan build section showcases an impressive rendition of the breakout character from Star Wars: The Mandalorian. For fans of the saga, there is also the second part of the incredible Mod Squad project that details how to give the Ultimate Collector Series Star Destroyer an interior.

Blockstalgia takes a look at Paradisa, the classic leisure theme that paved the way for Friends, Building Blocks focuses on the 2000s, the decade that almost saw the end of the LEGO Group, and Q&A reveals how LEGO demos can make science fun.

The regular sections are packed into Issue 65 too, including Month in LEGO, Technique, Rebuild Challenge, Ideas Showcase, Piece Perception and Retired Part.
