Originally set to write and direct Episode IX, Colin Trevorrow stepped away to be replaced by the man who created many of the characters and locales of the Sequel Trilogy J.J. Abrams, returning to the director’s chair for The Rise of Skywalker. Trevorrow’s ideas for IX were famously revealed as Duel of the Fates, and fan Andrew Winegarner has converted this into a fan comic.

Andrew has set up a website for the project which you can click through to here. It’s a fascinating project, giving some kind of life to what might have been – and bringing an adaptation of Episode IX before the actual film recieves one.
