It’s been a while since You Can Draw Star Wars series, but Matt Busch is back with the second episode of Illustrating Star Wars, this week on how to plan a colour pallette and how to paint washes for large paintings.

Star Wars Artist Matt Busch continues this new series on how he draws and paints epic montages. Since Matt is celebrating his 30th Anniversary of illustrating books, posters, apparel and more for that galaxy far, far away, it’s perfect timing to deliver new tutorials detailing each step of the way. Today Matt shares off-the-cuff tips, tricks, and techniques for planning a color palette and painting washes for a large vibrant Star Wars painting.
