It’s a multi-generational storyline in the format of a 30 issue maxi series, taking place in the Republic, Rebellion and Resistance eras and will focus on individual characters, giving us a new insight into the events of their time. So far, thanks to reveals at San Diego Comic Con that Jody Houser is on Star Wars: Age of Republic, Greg Pak tackles Star Wars: Age of Rebellion  and Tom Taylor is diving into Star Wars: Age of Resistance, but beyond that we know very little.

Yesterday, Marvel released that enticing teaser image above, and to go with it here’s a run down of the 8 issues that comprise Jody Housers Age of Republic run, which kicks off in December 2018.

  • Age of Republic: Qui-Gon
  • Age of Republic: Darth Maul
  • Age of Republic: Obi-Wan Kenobi
  • Age of Republic: Jango Fett
  • Age of Republic: Anakin Skywalker
  • Age of Republic: Dooku
  • Age of Republic: Padme Amidala
  • Age of Republic: Gen. Grievous

This is the AGE OF STAR WARS!

It looks like that panel will give us a much clearer view on what’s in store for the Star Wars: Age of Rebellion and Star Wars: Age of Resistance sections of this ambitious series, but before then stay tuned to the site as Marvel’s December solicitations hit Fantha Tracks later this evening.
