Based on the works of Edgar Allen Poe, The Fall of the House of Usher lands on Netflix 12th October, just in time for Halloween and starring Mark Hamill as “a character surprisingly at home in the shadows“. Hamill stars alongside Carla Gugino, T’Nia Miller, Henry Thomas, Kate Siegel and Rahul Kohli in the Poe-daptation from Mike Flanagan.
The show is based on Poe’s short story The Fall of the House of Usher among others, with Flanagan previously describing it as “a modern remix of some of the most iconic works of Edgar Allan Poe”.
The story sees the ruthless twins, who have built a pharmaceutical empire, faced with past secrets coming to light as their heirs start dying at the hands of a mysterious woman from their youth.
The series also features Carl Lumbly, Michael Trucco, Paola Nuñez, Kyliegh Curran, Samantha Sloyan, Sauriyan Sapkota, Zach Gilford, Willa Fitzgerald, Katie Parker, Malcolm Goodwin, Crystal Balint, Aya Furukawa, Daniel Jun, Matt Biedel, Ruth Codd, Annabeth Gish, Igby Rigney and Robert Longstreet.
