It’s a rumour, via Making Star Wars who have a solid track record of sniffing out such news but they believe that Jamie Lee Curtis may be appearing in the second season of The Mandalorian.

For a few days during the filming of Star Wars: The Mandalorian’s second season I had Jamie Lee Curtis at the location for the filming of the show. If I’m wrong, I’m guessing she’s involved in Avatar 2 as it is in the same general location as well. One day around the set and I can see Curtis having been there for a set visit. But there were multiple times she was around and I think she has a role in the series. I reached out to sources for confirmation and at the moment, and I can’t get total confirmation of it because of the current climate of the world if you know what I mean. I reached out to Curtis and I didn’t get a response back.

Jamie is from the same era as Carrie Fisher, only two years younger and like Carrie born to Hollywood royalty (her parents were Tony Curtis and Psycho star Janet Leigh). Breaking through at a similar time to Carrie with 1978’s Halloween and enjoying an 80’s high and a recent peak with Halloween in 2018 and Knives Out last year, it would appear to fit The Mandalorian casting template with fellow 80’s star Michael Biehn rumoured to be joining Carl Weathers and Nick Nolte already a part of the family.
