With the mother of Luke and Leia Natalie Portman in the film, ILM (and StageCraft) on VFX and IG-11, The Mandalorian director and future big screen helmer the Oscar winning Taika Waititi in the directors chair there’s plenty of connective tissue between Disney’s Marvel Studio’s production of Thor: Love and Thunder and the Star Wars galaxy, and add to that list another name – editor Maryann Brandon who co-edited The Force Awakens and solely edited The Rise of Skywalker.

Maryann Brandon is a well-known film editor, having worked on How to Train Your Dragon, Kung Fu Panda 2, The Darkest Minds, and Venom. She is also a frequent collaborator with J.J. Abrams. They have worked together on Star Trek, Super 8, Star Trek Into Darkness, Mission Impossible III, The Force Awakens, and The Rise of Skywalker.
