Author Timothy Zahn has opened up on the possibility of Mara Jade being reintroduced to Star Wars canon, and how he believes the character should be handled.
Following the reintroduction of Grand Admiral Thrawn via Rebels and the new novels, he says he wouldn’t want Mara Jade to be a cameo or side character, and she’d need to have some impact on a story arc before he’d allow her to be brought back.
