Upcoming Star Wars director Taika Waititi has directed this years Disney Holiday Short, entitled "Best Christmas Ever." The short follows the charming story of the friendship between the girl and the animated product of her imagination during this magical season in a uniquely Disney way.
We’re on the fast count down to the arrival of Andor, and speaking with SFX magazine Mon Mothma actress Genevieve O’Reilly discusses her character and how the show is going to present new aspects previously unseen.
“When we meet Mon Mothma [on] Coruscant, it’s a high society world of intrigue and political machinations. She is trying to be a voice for diplomacy and a voice for action, and trying to gather allies against this ever looming autocracy. At the moment, the Emperor has all the numbers, and she is a very lonely voice. In order to change, she has to put her head above the parapet, which is highly dangerous, and I think that’s what allows for the thriller element that runs through this season.”
It won’t be long before we get to meet the Andor version of Mothma, something that’s sure to add layers to a character we’ve known since 1983 and Return of the Jedi.
