Vlix is a character in the Droids animation from 1985, and worked as the security chief of Fromm Gang who had as leader the villain Sise Fromm.

Following the launch of the Droids series, Kenner launched the first series of toys based on the show.

A second wave of action figures was developed with new characters, but as the series did not have a second season, so the ready-made prototypes were archived.

But for some unknow reason the Vlix prototype, which belonged to this second wave, came to Brazil.

And when the series Droids was released in 1988 in Brazil the character was released along with the other characters in the series.

It was only released by Brazilian toy distributor Glasslite, becoming an exclusive character in Brazil.

The name “Oncard” is a reference to the fact that it is even rarer to find yourself “incarcerated”.

Today it is considered one of the 10 most rare items on Ebay, and so rare has become unknown even in Brazil.

Blaster American version rifle (also used as AT-AT Driver accessory)

Laser rifle of the Brazilian version (in black) and top in blue as accessory of the Imperial Stormtrooper, it is possible to differentiate the original rifle by the type of finish, with burrs, excesses and lack of definition of some details in comparison with the American version.

Only in Brazil was this black version of the Laser rifle, and in a lighter bluish tint for the Imperial Warrior of Glasslite.

As it became a legend among collectors, there are several customizations of both American prototypes, as well as the figure released in Brazil.

These customizations are true works of art and would pass unnoticed as original figures, but since they are not forged, these pieces have some security marks placed by the artist, such as the absence of peg holes or marks with the word “COPY”.
