Billie Lourd will feature in The Last Showgirl from director Gia Coppola (granddaughter of the legendary Francis Ford Coppola and niece of Sophia) which follows a showgirl who needs to make plans for the future after her 30 year run on a show ends. The showgirl in question is played by Pamela Anderson, who joins Billie in a stellar cast including Oscar winner Jamie Lee Curtis and Royal Rumble winner Dave Bautista, who both recently featured in the Knives Out films for The Last Jedi director Rian Johnson.

Pamela Anderson, Jamie Lee Curtis, Dave Bautista, Brenda Song, Kiernan Shipka, and Billie Lourd are starring in The Last Showgirl, directed by Gia Coppola. Kate Gersten penned the script with Robert Schwartzman and Natalie Farrey producing. Kara Durrett and Jesse Burgum of Pinky Promise to exec produce.

“I’ve always wanted to make a movie in Vegas,” says Coppola. “I’m so proud of our cast and crew, especially Pamela. I can’t wait to share her daring and heartfelt performance!”

The film follows a seasoned showgirl who must plan for her future when her show abruptly closes after a 30-year run. As a dancer in her fifties, she struggles with what to do next. As a mother, she strives to repair a strained relationship with her daughter, who often took a backseat to her showgirl family.
