Awards season is flying towards us at lightspeed and that means ILMVFX are in the running for some richly deserved gongs. With the Saturn Awards nominations announced, ILM are in the running for four awards with Deadpool and Wolverine, Twisters and Alien: Romulus up for the Best Film Visual / Special Effects award and Transformers: One on the list for Best Animated Film.
Meanwhile, Ahsoka is nominated in the Best Science Fiction Television Series category, while Star Wars: The Bad Batch gets a nod in the Best Animated Television Series or Special category. Best Actress in a Television Series sees Rosario Dawson nominated for Ahsoka, and finally Star Wars: Andor – The Complete First Season for Best Television Home Media Release.
