Hi there! I wanted to get in touch about an event tomorrow you and your readers won’t want to miss – a new, one-of-a-kind retrospective on the art and life of Drew Struzan, the man behind some of film’s most iconic posters (Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Back to the Future)!
You’ve written about Drew Struzan previously, so you probably don’t need me to tell you just what kind of giant he is in art and Hollywood – responsible over his 40+-year career for more than 150 movie posters, alongside countless book covers, album covers, and other fine art. Now, you and your readers can experience his work like never before, thanks to a breathtaking new virtual exhibit.
In recognition of Drew’s incredible career and achievements, Greg Aronowitz, founder and curator of the Hollywood Art Museum, has partnered with Sansar, the leading social VR platform, to showcase Drew’s work in a new collection – The Art of Drew Struzan: The Studio Experience. It all kicks off tomorrow at 4 PM, with a tour of the gallery led by Drew and Greg, followed by a
glimpse into Drew’s never-before-seen workspace – brought to breathtaking life by Sansar’s immersive rendering.
The event is open to anyone with a desktop or VR device. You just have to create an account with Sansar to attend.
