Jon Watts and Chris Ford appear to have confirmed that the Great Works of Chancellor Lina Soh during the High Republic era and the great work of At Attin are most likely connected – a smart decision allowing for further investigation in future novels and comics – and while the writers of the Disney Plus show aren’t claiming to have actively intertwined the two concepts, they do view the ‘good’ done in both instances as being connected in the broadest sense. Jon Watts had this to say.

“Yeah, I mean I didn’t want to have to like fully step into that part of the universe and [have the] people working on it be like ‘It is that!’ But it’s supposed to feel connected, so if it’s not literally connected it’s still an idea that existed in the galaxy at a certain time of like ‘We can do better. We can do great things.’ And I think both At Attin and the works of [Chancellor Lina Soh] were coming from the same place if they’re not directly related. But maybe they are.”

This is sure to run and run, especially given the assumption that The Acolyte was the show that would hook into the High Republic era when in fact its successor Skeleton Crew is deeply connected as well. Check out our latest season of Making Tracks Reaction Crew where we dived into each episode of the show, along with our own thoughts on potential links to other corners of the galaxy.
