It’s been almost ten years since hero of the Resistance and thorn in the First Orders side Poe Dameron first made his way on to the pages of Marvel Comics with his self-titled Poe Dameron comic series that ran for 31 titles from 2016 to 2018. But now fans can relive the glory and daring of the pilot portrayed on screen by Oscar Isaac in a new trade paperback hitting the shelves this Autumn.
Penned by Charles Soule and illustrated first by Phil Noto and later Angel Unzueta, the 792 page Omnibus will collect all 31 issues of the self-titled series plus both Poe Dameron annuals as well as the mini-comic SaBBotage.
The series covers the events of The Force Awakens and serves to bridge the gap between that and The Last Jedi whilst fleshing a number of the Black Squadron pilots who flew in the Battle of Starkiller Base whilst introducing new ones.
Whilst Poe hasn’t been seen on the big screen since 2019’s The Rise of Skywalker he remains a fan favourite and so many fans hope that where the franchise goes in the future there’s a space for roguish resistance pilot from Yavin and so if you didn’t pickup the comics the first time round this will serve as a great opportunity to fill that gap on your bookshelves.
Marvel’s Poe Dameron omnibus hits bookstores and online retailers on 9th September 2026.
