Of the many elements in The Force Awakens that absolutely nailed it, the first appearance of Han Solo was at the top of the list. Iconic, exciting and pitch-perfect, the moment was beyond exciting for many fans, and throw in those three words (thank you Simon Pegg) you had the perfect Star Wars moment.

However, like almost every element of any Star Wars film it could have been so different CBR take a look at Art Director Christian Alzmann’s concept art showing a bearded Solo in a dingy cantina.

It would have certainly given us yet another Star Wars parallel, harkening back to the original cantina scene where we first saw Solo, but the scene in the film certainly got it so right.
