RUMOUR: Has the Obi-Wan Kenobi series found its cinematograper in Chung Chung-Hoon?

Korean website Cine21 are reporting that South Korean cinematographer Chung Chung-hoon, who worked on the legendary Oldboy and more recently with Edgar Wright on One Night in Soho and Zombieland: Doubletap, will be shooting the Obi-Wan Kenobi Disney Plus series for director Deborah Chow.

Chung-hoon Chung was born on June 15, 1970 in Seoul, South Korea. He is a cinematographer and writer, known for The Handmaiden (2016), Oldboy (2003) and Stoker (2013).

No confirmation as yet from Lucasfilm, but as soon as it is we’ll bring that news right here.
