As the mid season trailer arrives for the first season of Star Wars Resistance, Disney announce that the show is to return for a second season, meaning that the adventures of Kaz and co will continue into at least 2020.

The out-of-this-galaxy animated series Star Wars Resistance, set in the Star Wars universe just before the events of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, will return for a second season on Disney Channel in fall 2019.

The series follows Kazuda Xiono (“Kaz”), a young pilot recruited by the Resistance for a top-secret mission to spy on the growing threat of the First Order. If you need more high-flying fun now, season one continues this Sunday, January 13 (10–10:30 p.m. EST/PST), on Disney Channel and DisneyNOW.
