She’s here, she’s there, she’s every Huttin’ where on the promotional trail for her latest film Cleaner (not co-starring Greg Davies) but naturally with the imminent status of the New Jedi Order project, star Daisy Ridley is being asked about the GFFA – a lot – and talking with Inverse she dipped into what makes Star Wars tick and how the series has always been political despite accusations that politics have only recently started appearing in Star Wars projects.

“I feel like [the Star Wars films] are all political. I feel like it’s the individual versus the big corporation or the big group, so I think they always have been, and ultimately I think the films are emotional in that it’s good and evil, which we all can relate to very specifically in our day-to-day lives. But yes, I do feel those conversations are woven within the story, and I’m very excited to see what George does.”
