Don Bies, Droid Wrangler supreme who oversaw R2-D2 during the Prequel trilogy, wil be a guest of the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures as part of their Building Character program to discuss his work in film and of course Artoo himself.

The man himself had this to say.

I’m honored beyond words to be asked by the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures to discuss my work with R2-D2 and Lucasfilm for their “Building Character” program series.

The event is on July 28, 2022 at the Academy Museum in Los Angels and is free!

You can read our both of our Vintage Interviews with Don here and here, and to get those free tickets click here.
