We’re now in May, which means not only are we just under 3 weeks away from the world premiere of Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny on 18th May at the Cannes Film Festival, but also under 2 months from the film arriving on 28th June. Speaking with Total Film, Harrison Ford delved into the movie, and his belief that Dial of Destiny – whether there ever is a TV project or not – will be his final time playing the venerable professor of archaeology.

“This is the final film in the series, and this is the last time I’ll play the character. I anticipate that it will be the last time that he appears in a film.

“It was a joyous moment for me. I think it’s a rare situation that I find myself in. I’ve been able to deliver amazing films developed by Steven and George over a 40-year period, and to end it not with a whimper, but a bang, has been my greatest ambition for this excursion.”
